I'm in a lot of pain recently so I've been in bed a lot. I'm sorry if I haven't been commenting to your art, but I have seen all of them. I'm a bit stuck right now on Merchant's Soul, it just doesn't look right when I put it on paper, I'm really not sure why, and if it doesn't come out on paper I certainly can't attempt it on the computer. So Chp. 1 will be delayed even longer T-T

Merchant's Soul Info

Rowen Anval: The main character, although everyone refers to Rowen as male, no one really knows which gender he/she really is. Always calm and calculating Rowen usually does most of the actual work aboard the Latacri, and often has to keep his/her partner Reigi in line.
Rowen is a skilled Ironweaver, and imbues metals with elements of water, wind and Lightning. Rowen prefers to ignore questions about what he/she did before founding the Ironweavers

Roka: Rowen's inner self who appears at random intervals during the story, often to question Rowen's actions or provide advice. Roka seems playful and erratic, opposite of Rowen in many ways. Roka may play a larger role late in the story. Appears as a younger Rowen with darker hair.

Reigi Asara: Self proclaimed ladies man, and partner to Rowen, he has yet to get a date. He is the marksman of the group and finds little enjoyment out of anything but polishing his guns or talking to every woman he sees. Due to his shoot and talk first, think later attitude he often gets the others in trouble.

Tala Valrus: She joins the group sometime later, and ends up being the Latacri's assistant cook, and maid, under Rowen's supervision. A total neat freak, she can't stand any mess, which instantly creates a tussle with Reigi and Tren. She loves to help out whenever possible and gets bored quickly when there is nothing to do.

Tren Mallent: Navigator of the Latacri. He is Physically frail making it impossible for him to really fight, however his knowledge of maps, and geography made up for his lack of combat skill. When he isn't at the helm he spends much of his time in the Latacri's library and laboratory often assisting Rowen with new experiments in Ironweaving.

Virgil Amada: co founder of the Ironweavers along side Rowen. By Rowens request Amada was named Captain of the Ironweavers and the Latacri. Amada looks like your typical gruff old timer with a bad mood, but don't let that fool you, he really is! He doesn't have a soft spot for anything and he really only seems to respect Rowen, Tren, and Karen. How Rowen and Amada met is a mystery but they seem to go way back. (oh and he hates to be called Virgil)

Karen Altaire: She's very quite, the only one she ever talks to is Rowen and even then it's not that often. She's always carrying around a little doll that Rowen made for her, and always addresses Rowen as "Older one"

Milly: She assists with the weapons of the Latacri. Although she is older than Karen, she often acts younger, as a prankster she always gets herself in trouble. She's quick to get distracted and quick to fall in love with young men, but quick to lose interest in them too. She loves playing tricks on Reigi, especially when he's trying to sweet talk a girl.

Miso: Milly's adoptive older sister, and prank partner. Unlike her smaller counterpart, she doesn't pull quite as many tricks. More often she feels like sleeping, but is quick to do anything for Rowen and Tren, whom she respects and may have crushes on. She is Rowen's wingman when piloting the Arcwings

Thalamus v.011: Rowen accidentally wins her as a prize when the group enters a contest for some extra cash. She is a new model android designed for domestic services. However, due to their lack of funding the group can't afford to purchase weapons systems for an expensive new model, so she becomes the Latacri's support AI. She is named Thalamus because of her unmatched skill at routing data. She has a strange, unexplained affinity towards Rowen.

The Latacri: The Ironweavers can't really go about wandering around annoucing that they're pirates to everyone, so the Latacri is designed to resemble any other merchant ship with extra armor to "protect itself from pirate attack" and to confidentially hide all the weaponry the craft employs.

The Arcwings: Individual craft, Rowen, Miso and Tala all have their own personalized versions. Rowen's is agile and holds extra armaments hidden within it's frame. Miso's is slower, but is larger and capable of holding others. Tala's is a newer model as she was accepted into the group later, and is designed with a rail gun that can attach and fire from the Latacri after they make the modifications to the Latacri's frame.

The Ironweavers: They are a group of Pirates, assassins, and mercenaries led by Virgil Amada. they were jointly founded by Rowen and Virgil, and were named for their skills in Ironweaving, an art that is growing more common each day. Disguised as a group of Merchants, and artisans, they will do just about anything to earn the money they need to get by.

Den : Appearing and vanishing mysteriously at random. He/she is always cloaked and talks just like Rowen. Den is always questioning Rowen about his/her intentions and actions. Needless to say, Den's abrupt visits don't sit well with the group. Den has a small group of followers and appears to have an agenda outside those of the four Kingdoms

The Four Kingdoms: Originally there were only two major powers the Ascal Empire and the Kingdom of Vinitez. After Centuries of unyielding warfare the two powers came to an abrupt cease fire, ultimately ending the war. Soon after the lesser power, the Kingdom of Serata, which was an ally of the empire, grew and the Empire split into the kingdoms of Ascal and Mineten. What ended the war is unknown, all records regarding the fact are missing, but there was a sheer drop in the number of lives from before and after that day, thus it was called "the forgotten Loss".

The Kingdom of Vinitez: large and powerful it supported a large navy. It was self-sufficient needing little from outside cities and lesser kingdoms. It was locked in a long struggle with the Ascal Empire, which end happened almost instantly. They advocated the use of science and magic to jointly bring prosperity to the land.

The Ascal Empire(the Kingdoms of Ascal and Mineten): It was once the ruling power over the world, but it fell apart into a large group of smaller kingdoms. The majority of these kingdoms joined together to form the new Ascal empire and the Kingdom of Vinitez. The Ascal Empire wanted the use of magic and science to bring prosperity but felt the two should be kept separate and that combining the two broke the very principles they were based on. After the war the Empire fell apart once again, those who valued the use of Magic created the Kingdom of Mineten, while those who preferred science created the Kingdom of Ascal.

The Kingdom of Serata: although it was technically an ally of The Empire, it chose to remain neutral to the war. As the major site of the largest religion on the planet it couldn't allow it self to benefit one or the other. After the war many on both sides wanted religious aid so the kingdom prospered as many migrated to seek it. It gradually grew to power and has kept balance over the other kingdoms.

The Forgotten Loss: there had been many occurrences where large groups of people or areas of land have completely disappeared without a trace, in the duration of a single day. The Forgotten Loss was the most notable one, which happened on the same day the war between the Ascal Empire and The Kingdom of Vinitez ended. There is no record of what exactly took place, but it was at that time that the presence of the people that known as "Ironweavers" came to be known to the world and their disappearance as well.
